A sign with red and gray background displays the text "KENNARDS HIRE."

We have had the pleasure of working with this grassroots organisation since 2019 that was created to address various needs in the community by providing educational, vocational, wellbeing and practical skills training opportunities for young people.

Our team has been particularly drawn to A Mua Ake (employment preparation and placement programme) and the Driving Academy, which gave us a deep understanding of the significant demand among young people aged 18 – 24 for long term employment preparation and placement.

We have seen the impact of this programme on the lives of its participants, as they have gained the confidence and skills necessary to secure meaningful employment.

Overall, we highly recommend Springboard’s programmes and services to anyone looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people in their community within New Zealand. Their commitment to empowering youth through education, skills training and practical support is truly inspiring and we are proud to support their efforts.

We consulted many of our Australian charity partners when we began exploring Aotearoa as a country for UnLtd to launch into. We asked them to recommend organisations that impressed them from an impact perspective. One of those charities was Springboard.

Some of the things we look for in choosing a new partner are clarity of vision, the proven impact on children and young people, and a focus on inter-generational change. It was evident that Springboard is a charity that has an enormous positive impact on the lives of young people and their communities.

Having attended many events over the past two years and hearing the stories of hope and resilience from the young people themselves, we know we made the right decision in supporting this incredible organisation.
