Taumata Ake is a 26-week youth development programme. Aimed at 15-24year olds, we can help you build confidence, explore your options for education, training and work, and support you as you set goals and choose pathways to a bright future.

Taumata Ake might be for you if you:

  • Need to upskill: You’re keen to gain practical experience that leads to employment.

  • Are feeling stuck: You’re a bit directionless, not currently working or in education, and you’re looking for a fresh start.

  • Are figuring out your next move: You aren't sure which career path, course, or training option fits you best.

  • Face extra challenges: You have personal or practical barriers making it tough to get ahead on your own.

  • Can commit to 3 days a week: You’re ready to show up consistently for training three days weekly, for the full 26 weeks of this programme.

  • Want to build stronger inter-personal skills: You want to grow your confidence, resilience, and communication skills before stepping into your next chapter.
