Springboard Community Works is a faith based charity in North Rodney that has been working with young people and their families since 2002.

Our mission is to work with vulnerable young people and families within our community, to empower them with essential truths, skills, and mentors to facilitate personal transformation whilst increasing connection to the community.

Community Development Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Community Development Manager:
• Mentor today’s most vulnerable youth and the people who inspire their life changing moments

It all starts with being the change you want to see. Here at Springboard Community Works, we’ve been teaming up successfully with vulnerable youth and their families since 2002, providing life-changing tools that are designed to instigate change and empowerment throughout the community.

Our tight-knit team of faith-based community workers are driven by their desire to impact positively on those around them. In fact, inspiring change is what we live for; and we pride ourselves on being just like a second family for those who truly need our support.

You’ll slot right into our passionate team because it’s your desire to make a difference and create a healthy, safe environment for others.

You will lead from the front and instill our aligned values with other youth community partners who are implementing programs for their vulnerable youth. This collaboration will build a successful community strength model.

Key experience skills will include fantastic communication, people and presentation skills, great project management experience, excellent reporting ability and ownership of outcomes which mirror Springboard’s growth expectations.

You’ll be prepared to travel and spend the time to build an understanding of other youth development partners. In return, we’ll provide you with a package including vehicle assistance and full orientation support of the Springboard ‘way’. This role will suit someone with a generous and giving personality.
